Luraio and OurFamilyWizard.

Both help kids who live across two homes. They're built for different situations, and the right one depends on yours.

Who each one is best for

Choose OurFamilyWizard if

You're under a court order, or things with the other parent are high-conflict, and you need a record a court can rely on. Its messages can't be edited or deleted, it keeps expense logs and payments, and its higher plans offer certified records and recorded calls. If that's your situation, OurFamilyWizard is likely the better fit.

Choose Luraio if

You want help with the everyday: the schedule, swaps, handoffs, the kids' details and the people around them, like a partner, grandparents and sitters. Luraio works fully for one parent, and the other parent can answer a swap by link without signing up.

We make Luraio, so read this with that in mind. Every fact about OurFamilyWizard below comes from its own site and is linked. Prices and features change; if something here is out of date, write to [email protected] and we'll fix it.

The main differences

A record versus a routine. OurFamilyWizard is built around documentation: what was said, when, and what was paid. Luraio is built around the week ahead: who has the kids, what goes in the bag, and who's picking up.

Who pays. On OurFamilyWizard each parent has their own subscription. Luraio is free during the beta, and always free for the other parent.

One parent or two. Luraio is designed for the parent who's doing it alone on the app. OurFamilyWizard's site doesn't say which features work before the other parent joins.

Using both. Some families keep OurFamilyWizard for what a court requires and use Luraio for the day-to-day. That works fine.
