One home The other home

One home has Monday to Wednesday, the other Thursday to Sunday. The next week the first home also has Thursday, and the other has Friday to Sunday.

Over two weeks each home has seven nights, and one home has every weekend.

  • 7 and 7nights each, every two weeks
  • 2handoffs a week, on average
  • 4 nightsthe longest stretch at one home
  • One homehas every weekend

Who it tends to suit

Often chosen as a middle ground: fewer handoffs than 2-2-3, shorter stretches than week on, week off. The trade-off is that the weekends all go to one home unless the plan says otherwise.

Running a 3-4-4-3 schedule in Luraio

Pick My own and tap in the two weeks. Luraio then knows where the kids sleep every night, shows you the next handoff on your Today screen, and puts holidays on top of the regular weeks the way your plan says.

When something changes for one weekend, you can see what a swap would mean for your own home before you ask. The other parent can answer from a link, without an account. You don't need them to join to use any of it.

Now run the whole week.

Luraio is in a private beta. Leave your email and we'll send your invite as soon as there's room.

How many homes do your kids live in? (optional)

With your email we keep the page you started on and the site that sent you. No cookies, no tracking.

Set up your home in about ten minutes. You don't need the other parent to start.
