The kids spend seven nights in a row at one home, then seven at the other. The switch happens on the same day every week, often Friday or Sunday.
There is one handoff a week, and each home has every other weekend.
- 7 and 7nights each, every two weeks
- 1handoff a week, on average
- 7 nightsthe longest stretch at one home
- Every otherweekend at each home
Who it tends to suit
Often chosen for school-age kids and teens, because there are few handoffs and each week has one home. The trade-off is a full week away from each home at a time.
Running a Week on, week off schedule in Luraio
Pick Week on, week off, choose your switch day and time, and whose week starts first. Luraio then knows where the kids sleep every night, shows you the next handoff on your Today screen, and puts holidays on top of the regular weeks the way your plan says.
When something changes for one weekend, you can see what a swap would mean for your own home before you ask. The other parent can answer from a link, without an account. You don't need them to join to use any of it.
Now run the whole week.
Luraio is in a private beta. Leave your email and we'll send your invite as soon as there's room.
Set up your home in about ten minutes. You don't need the other parent to start.
