One home always has Monday and Tuesday, the other always has Wednesday and Thursday. Friday to Sunday alternates, which makes stretches of five nights.
Over two weeks each home has seven nights, with the same weeknights every week.
- 7 and 7nights each, every two weeks
- 2handoffs a week, on average
- 5 nightsthe longest stretch at one home
- Every otherweekend at each home
Who it tends to suit
Often chosen when weekday routines matter, like a practice that’s always on Tuesday, because each home keeps the same weeknights. The trade-off is five nights in a row away from each home every other week.
Running a 2-2-5-5 schedule in Luraio
Pick My own and tap in the two weeks: your two weeknights, then your five. Luraio then knows where the kids sleep every night, shows you the next handoff on your Today screen, and puts holidays on top of the regular weeks the way your plan says.
When something changes for one weekend, you can see what a swap would mean for your own home before you ask. The other parent can answer from a link, without an account. You don't need them to join to use any of it.
Now run the whole week.
Luraio is in a private beta. Leave your email and we'll send your invite as soon as there's room.
Set up your home in about ten minutes. You don't need the other parent to start.
