How it works

Right now, you're the switchboard.

Here's what Luraio takes off your plate, one piece at a time. The screens below are the real app, shown with a made-up sample family: Marcus, his kids Jada and Eli, his partner Tasha, and Simone, the kids' mom, who isn't on Luraio.

1 · The problem

The schedule lives in a PDF or in your head. The details live in a hundred texts.

Who has them Thanksgiving. Whether Saturday's game is at your house or theirs. What size shoes she wears now. Whether Grandma is doing Tuesday pickup. Everyone asks you, and you're the only one who can piece it together.

2 · Your year, right

Your year, worked out. Holidays and summers included, years ahead.

Pick the pattern you live by, like every other weekend or a 2-2-3, or bring in the rules from your plan. Luraio lays out the year: your weekends, who has Thanksgiving, which half of winter break is yours, the summer weeks. You can see Memorial Day in February.

Try the holiday calculator to see how holidays play out through 2029.

Here's your year with them: 25 weekends, 126 nights, Thanksgiving and spring break are yours, laid out month by month

3 · Swaps without a fight

Ask for a change by link. They can answer in a tap.

When plans change, send the other parent a link instead of a long text. It shows only that one request, works without an account, and has Accept, Decline and Suggest other dates. You set an answer-by date, and the answer lands on your calendar and in your record.

Before you say yes to their request, or send your own, Luraio shows what it would mean for your home, privately.

What the other parent sees: Can Jada and Eli be with Marcus Jan 21 to 25, and with you Jan 14 to 18? Accept, Decline, Suggest other dates
Only you and Tasha see this: what the swap does at home, night by night

4 · Every kid's details

Sizes, school, allergies and the emergency card, in one place.

Each kid gets their own page: school and teachers, sizes, activities, the gift list, contacts, documents. The emergency card holds allergies, medications, the doctor and who to call first, ready to hand to a sitter or show at urgent care.

Some of it is shared with the people who need it. Allergies always are.

Jada's page: 7th grade, school, sizes, allergies and bedtime
An emergency card: allergies, medications, doctor, blood type and who to call first

5 · Your circle

Your partner, the grandparents, the sitter. Each sees only what they need.

Add the people who help, and choose what each one sees. A partner can get a quiet view of when the kids are home. A grandparent can see the schedule and the gift list. A sitter gets the stay they're covering, and their link stops working when it ends.

"Who sees what" lists every person and exactly what they can see, so there are no surprises.

Who sees what: Marcus sees everything, Tasha has a quiet view, a sitter and grandparents each see a few things

6 · Your home stays yours

Nothing about your home reaches the other parent.

Your notes, your plans for the weekend and what a swap costs your household stay on your side. The other parent sees what you send them, like a request or a shared event, and nothing else.

It works the same the other way around. If they join, their home stays theirs too.

Stays with you

  • What a swap means for your home
  • Your weekend plans and ideas
  • Your own events and your partner's
  • Reflections and notes about your time with them

What the other parent sees

  • A request you send them, by link or in the app
  • Events you choose to share
  • The kids' allergies, always

It's built from the parenting plan you confirm, with holidays, summer weeks and swaps included, so you can see your time with them months ahead instead of the week before.

Your phone in the car. Your laptop on Sunday night.

It's the same plan everywhere, designed for the phone first. These are real screens from the app, shown with the sample family.
