Switching from Cozi
Moving from Cozi to Luraio.
Cozi is a good organizer for one household. When your kids' week runs across more than one home, the calendar needs to know whose night it is. Here's how to bring your Cozi calendar over in about ten minutes, and what's worth keeping in Cozi.
Stay with Cozi if
Your kids live in one home, and what you mostly use is the shared calendar, the grocery list and meal planning. Luraio doesn't do groceries or meals.
Move to Luraio if
Your kids live across homes. Luraio lays out your year from the parenting plan, handles swaps and handoffs, and lets a partner, grandparents and sitters see just their part. Many families keep Cozi for the house and use Luraio for the kids.
Bring your calendar over
Cozi shares its calendar as a link rather than a file. Luraio brings in a file, so step 2 turns one into the other.

- Get your Cozi calendar link. In Cozi on the web or in the app, go to Settings → Shared Cozi Calendars. Switch the family members you want (or All) from Unshared to Shared, tap View or send Cozi URL, then Copy Cozi URL. Cozi's steps
- Turn the link into a file. On a computer, paste the link into your browser's address bar. Most browsers save it as a file ending in .ics. If yours shows a page of text instead, use File → Save Page As and give it a name ending in .ics.
- Bring it into Luraio. Choose the file and how far ahead to bring in. Luraio ticks the events that name your kids, so you only check them, then pick the kid for each and whether it's just for your home. Nothing comes in until you say so.
- Set up your schedule. Tell Luraio the pattern your kids live by, like every other weekend or a 2-2-3, and it lays out your year with holidays included.
Cozi's App Store listing names events more than 30 days ahead as a Gold feature. If you're on the free plan, check how far ahead your file reaches.
What stays in Cozi
Shopping and to-do lists. Luraio doesn't keep grocery lists. On Android, Cozi can email a list from the list's menu. Cozi's help
Recipes and meal plans. We couldn't find an export for these in Cozi's help pages. If you're leaving Cozi entirely, copy the ones you cook again.
Using both. Keeping Cozi for the house and Luraio for the kids' time across homes works fine. They don't overlap much.
