In week one, one home has Monday and Tuesday, the other has Wednesday and Thursday, and the first home has Friday to Sunday. In week two the same blocks go the other way.
Over two weeks each home has seven nights, and the kids are never more than three nights from either home.
- 7 and 7nights each, every two weeks
- 3handoffs a week, on average
- 3 nightsthe longest stretch at one home
- Every otherweekend at each home
Who it tends to suit
Often chosen for younger kids, because no stretch away from either home is longer than three nights. The trade-off is lots of handoffs, and the weekday nights move every week, so regular activities land with a different home each week.
Running a 2-2-3 schedule in Luraio
Pick 2-2-3 in the pattern picker, choose which two days are yours and the date it starts. Luraio then knows where the kids sleep every night, shows you the next handoff on your Today screen, and puts holidays on top of the regular weeks the way your plan says.
When something changes for one weekend, you can see what a swap would mean for your own home before you ask. The other parent can answer from a link, without an account. You don't need them to join to use any of it.
Now run the whole week.
Luraio is in a private beta. Leave your email and we'll send your invite as soon as there's room.
Set up your home in about ten minutes. You don't need the other parent to start.
